Installation: Memory Trees
Memory Trees is a collaborative public art installation. The installation is constructed from text and personal artifacts (photographs, drawings, objects, etc.) collected from the community. These artifacts, placed in relationship to one another like leaves on a tree, dramatize the nature of memory. The objective of the installation itself is to investigate memory, but through its methods allows for composers to witness their work in the public. This installation highlights the importance of multiliteracies, as it may be read visually and textually.
